The reservoir toe drain works have been completed and the water level should now rise gradually as BWB plan not to take any water from the reservoir. Whilst, this is good news there’s more potentially bad on the horizon. The spillway repairs works were supposed to only require a drop to 0.5m to complete, however, because of “running sands”the engineer has requested that the level be dropped to -3.0m whilst this work is going on - this is planned to be in August. This is also the best case scenario.

Please make a note of these in your diary so that you don’t turn up unexpectedly. That being said rowing might be possible up to 1030am on the MSC days, and with negotiation with TSV on the weekend of 10th/11th May.

Saturday was a blustery day with a moderate to strong cross head wind which made conditions at the start very unpleasant. All the races after the first one were free starts. The results are here

Unfortunately there was a missing novice 4+ from the draw, and this event has been redrawn. Changes only affect this event.
The regatta draw is published here. We have had a very good entry, but not all crews could get an event. Because of the size of the entry the J16 events (which are not primary regatta events) are being held as straight knockouts. There are no J12 races so Division 4 will follow Division 1 after a 20 minute gap. Draw and instructions will be sent out tomorrow. Further details are available on the regatta pages.
